1st Pom Comp 2023

What an opening comp!

That 4.45 alarm clock was most definitely worth it yesterday! What a fantastic start with some great placings for 1st Pom Comp of the season. With 13 troupes competing to place, 6th puts us in the top half already!! Keep this up Butterflies and it will be a year to remember!

Newbies - huge well done to you all, dancers and parents! You all fully embraced every part of the day and I’d say you’re now well and truly affiliated and addicted to the Brid armed Admirals!

There’s no denying it was one of the most uncomfortable comps to date, shortage of space, the heat and the length of the day, but that goes to show the popularity and love for the sport.

Behaviour - please all give your selves a pat on the back, your children where so well behaved yesterday and all a pleasure to be around and help, manners were beautiful, well done everyone!

Let’s take a look at placings:

🏆 Baby Mascot 2nd Place

🏆Baby Leader 4th Place

🏆Baby Section 5th Place

🏆Dinky Mascot 6th Place

🏆Dinky Leader 4th Place

🏆Dinky section6th Place

🏆Tinies Section 6th Place

🏆Senior Leader 5th Place

🏆Senior Section 6th Place

Training is back this Tuesday as normal where trainers will discuss score cards with the dancers and start to implement changes, our next Pom comp isn’t until June so we have a good few weeks of training to make these improvements.

Next comp is of course Baton on Sunday 2nd April - less than 3 weeks now! There will be some additional training sessions in the coming weeks, please keep checking relevant messages to ensure you don’t miss the dates and times.

Once again one last Well Done everyone!
