Hi, my names Laura and I am the troupes Committee Secretary. I have been a member of the B.R.A committee since 2019 but I first joined our Majorettes family when my daughter, India, joined as a Dinky in 2017.
I undertake all the general administration jobs associated with the running of the club; parents letters, emails, newsletters, competition information, contact forms, new parents information and I manage the social media accounts & posts.
Along with the above, I help out with organising and running the Fundraising events that we participate in. I assist with obtaining sponsorships, charity grants and all other fundraising activities including bingo, Tombola’s and raffles!
Outside of the club, I work as a full time Property Management Agent. Along with my daughter, India, I also have a son, Austin, who you will regularly see at training and comps, kicking his beloved football around!
In my free time, I like to enjoy spending time with my family. I absolutely love going on holidays and drinking the ‘odd’ cocktail with friends 🤭.
I am DBS cleared and I will help out where I can with any questions from new parents and existing members. I will happily assist the others committee members with their loads where possible.
