Last night saw the launch of what we hope will now become an annual event for the Bridlington Red Admirals, with our first ever Summer Show Spectacular!
The event was organised by Shell, our Tiny and Junior Pom trainer and Senior Pom Leader.
The whole evening was a huge success and raised £1000 of much needed funds for the troupe - thank you to everyone who bought tickets to attend and supported the raffle, these fundraising events raise money to keep the troupe going and providing the best opportunities and equipment to the dancers.
The show consisted of full section performances, Duo’s and Solos - many of which our talented girls created them selves especially for the evening, they certainly showcased their own unique, individual flare and passion for what they love to do and gave a display that left many of the audience wide mouthed with the ability and skill that was been displayed.
During the second half of the show the roof was raised with clapping, cheering and joy as our Pom sections raised the energy levels and demonstrated impeccable standards of dancing.
The evening closed with our first full troupe dance performance with dancers aged from just 3 years old right up to their mid 40’s all on the same dance floor at the same time, sliding, shimmying and beaming with pride to the onlooking audience.
It was clear from the start of the evening and the attendance of spectators that this would not just be a one off event and we are thrilled at the thought of next years Summer Show already!
A huge thank you to all our dancers and their families and friends for supporting us, it was a delight to watch as the girls got to share their passion with the people closest to them watching.
